بلال أسد، أفغاني الجنسية، من مواليد السعودية، عشق المملكة واللغة العربية، فبدأ بحضور الندوات والمحاضرات المتخصصة باللغة العربية، وكيفية تطويرها إلى أن وصل إلى نادي غرفة الشرقية لـ«التوستماستر»، والذي يعنى بتطوير فن الخطابة والإلقاء بالعربية الفصحى، حتى أصبح خطيبا متمكنا، ومقدما لمحافل رسمية بحضور أمراء المنطقة، وعدد من الوزراء. وخلال حضوره لأحد المؤتمرات التي تطرقت إلى أهمية اللغة العربية ووجوب المحافظة عليها لأجيالنا القادمة، وعقب انتهائه، أخبر بلال الأفغاني، الحضور بأنه ليس عربيا ولغته الأم سواها، فتعجب الحضور لوهلة ووقفوا ليصفقوا له بحرارة. انطلق بلال في لقاءاته تلك، وازدادت الندوات والمحاضرات، حتى تطور الأمر، لينشئ بعدها مبادرة تُعنى باللغة العربية تحت مُسمى (كلموهم عربي)، فلاقت المبادرة استحسانا كبيرا من المجتمع، وتمت استضافته في أكثر من لقاء للحديث عن المبادرة.
Bilal Asad an Afghani national born in Saudi Arabia. Bilal loved Saudi Arabia and the Arabic language. By attending courses and specialized lectures in Arabic and how to perfect his abilities he was able to join the Toastmaster an Eastern Chamber Club adherent to develop the art of rhetoric and public speaking in flaunt Arabic. Today, Bilal is flaunt Arabic speaker even he has been given the chance to present occasions attended by Princes and ministers.
During his attendance at one of the conferences that address the importance of the Arabic language and the need to preserve it for our future generations, Bilal told the audience that “I am not an Arab and a non-Arab mother tongue”. The audience was surprised at the moment and stood up to greet him warmly.
Bilal carried on, attending intensive courses and lectures. He founded an initiative by the name of «Kalmoohom Arabic» (talk to them in Arabic) highly appreciated and welcomed by community and was hosted to more than one meeting to speak about the initiative
